INDICATIONS:
Daily iron supplement for the equine athlete requiring maximum oxygen carrying ability. Aids in the treatment and prevention of iron deficiency anaemia.

RECOMMENDED FOR USE IN:

• High performance athletes
• Horses who have lost blood: e.g. surgery, stomach ulcers, parasitism, lung bleeders
• Animal in training prone to low blood counts and anaemia, requiring long term therapeutic treatment.

COMPOSITION PER LITER OF PRODUCT:
Ferrous sulphate monohydrate 2.5 gr
Ferrous chelate of aminoacid hydrate  2 gr
Ferrous citrate hexahydrate 3.90 gr
Cupric sulphate pentahydrate 595 mg
Cobaltous sulphate heptahydrate    19 mg

DIRECTIONS:
Mix Daily in feed or administer by direct dosing over the tongue with an oral syringe.

DOSAGE:

Performance horses:

1. Early training: Maximum of 75 ml in early training for the first 6 weeks
2. Hard training: give 45 ml daily in a “3 days on, 3 days off” routine while in hard training, increasing to a maximum of 75 ml daily if required.

Breeding horses:

1. 45-75 ml daily in a “3 days on, 3 days off” routine

Iron deficiency anaemia:

1. 45-75 ml daily until anaemia corrected (usually 14-28 days) or as per veterinary advice
